Synopsis

David Bisbal is celebrating 20 years in music and wants to mark the occasion in Almería, his homeland, with a major concert surrounded by those closest to him. The camera stays by his side, following him through the days leading up to what will be the most emotional performance of his life. Amid the whirlwind, with Almería’s sea and desert as a backdrop, David looks back and remembers who he is and where he came from: singing from fair to fair in an orchestra, already dreaming of taking to bigger stages, and appearing on a TV talent show that forever changed the path to fame.

As he looks back, David recalls his time on OT, but also the hostility with which a music industry in crisis received him and his struggle not only to survive, but to earn credibility within it.

David takes us back to his roots, and it is there that we understand why, despite all his success, he remains a hometown hero, an artist who rose from humble beginnings. And how, from a place so far from everything, he managed something reserved for very few: for everyone to know his songs and for them to remain forever in our collective memory. That is the real triumph, and David has already achieved it.
